The AI Foundation Workshop for Leaders

Your next AI rollout will land on whatever foundation you've already built. Most leaders haven't built one.

A 2-hour Saturday workshop with Joel Salinas, plus 30 days of structured implementation support. You take the AI Leadership Compass as pre-work, build your team's 90-day plan in the room, and Joel works with you through the first 30 days so it actually lands.

The AI Leadership Quadrant

Your Compass result places you in one of these four quadrants.

The AI Leadership Quadrant A 2 by 2 model. Vertical axis is AI Mindset from low to high. Horizontal axis is AI Adoption from low to high. Four quadrants: Eager Newcomer (high mindset, low adoption), Champion (high mindset, high adoption), Skeptic (low mindset, low adoption), Reluctant Operator (low mindset, high adoption). Eager Newcomer Open. No on-ramp. Champion Confident. Capable. Skeptic Cautious. Watching. Reluctant Operator Using. Not trusting. AI MINDSET HIGH LOW AI ADOPTION LOW HIGH

Why most AI rollouts stall

Gartner forecasts ~30% of generative AI projects will be abandoned after proof-of-concept by end of 2025 [source]. The tools aren't usually the reason. The reason is that the leader doesn't know where the team actually sits.

Some of your team is skeptical. Some are eager but have no on-ramp. Some are hands-on but don't trust it. A few are way ahead of everyone else. Each group needs a completely different thing from leadership, and most rollouts give them all the same one: a tool, a memo, a training, a deadline.

That's bolting a new floor onto a cracked foundation.

How the workshop works

  1. 1

Pre-work: Take the AI Leadership Compass

Fifteen minutes. The Compass maps you on two axes: how you think about AI, and how much you use it. You get a personalized PDF with your archetype and recommendations. Joel reviews every result before the session, so the live time is shaped around your actual situation.

  2. 2

Saturday, July 18. Two hours live on Google Meet

Joel teaches the Foundation Playbook for each archetype using the cohort's actual Compass results, then you build your team's 90-day plan in the room. You leave with your Foundation Playbook PDF (archetype scorecard, team quadrant map, four playbooks, 90-day plan, and the AI Rollout Readiness Checklist).

  3. 3

    Day 7: Group office hours

45-minute Google Meet Q&A. Joel works through each attendee's 90-day plan now that you've started implementing. Optional. Most attendees show up.

  4. 4

    Day 30: Implementation Review

You submit a 1-page progress note. Joel writes back with one specific recommendation based on what you've actually built. Founding cohort attendees include a structured testimonial as part of this review.

What you walk out with

A foundation you don't have to rebuild. For yourself first, and then for every team you lead.

The next time someone in your org says "we should add this AI tool," you'll know exactly which quadrant your team sits in, what the rollout risk is, and what to do for each archetype. That's a permanent capability. Built once.

The cost of not building it: by Gartner's math, one stalled AI rollout in a 20-person team is $15K-$45K in lost productivity. Most leaders pay this at least once before they realize the foundation was the problem.
